It's been awhile, but don't worry.....I'm still swimming!
I worked very hard to get to 180 by spring break (28 pounds down!), then had a fantastic time in Arizona with Michelle. We ate fun food, but we kept very active. Some of the highlights for me were running a 5K...a Bubble Run! You run through colored bubbles and get all tie dyed by the end...perfect weather....LOVED IT! We also did a ton of hiking in Sedona, North Mountain night hikes, walks around the golf course, Hole in the Rock, and CAMELBACK MOUNTAIN! That one was really fun and hard. We also rode bikes to Tempe Lake--so fun. I wish I had a bike in Phoenix, and we would have done more riding! It was a perfect spring break.
This is very exciting. I feel good and everyone has noticed and commented on my weight loss. I am buying new clothes because I have shrunk out of all of my old ones.
Now, I really really want to keep losing weight and not get complacent. My original goal was 169. that is only 9 pounds away! I have a new goal: 155. This is low, a lot lower than I have ever weighed. However, it is not underweight. I think that it is very possible. I know it will take time and effort, but I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing. It's been working!!
By next week, I would like to see 175. We are supposed to have good weather next week. It's fun to have spring here. It felt so cold and dark and difficult at the beginning of the blog and the weight loss. Spring is so fun! I will close with pics from my latest adventure on Friday...the "Bo Glo" night race. I ran it with Ashlee Smart, Kori Valentine, and Emily Stromer. It's fun that a 5K isn't hard anymore! I wonder if I should start training for a 10K?
Just keep swimming! 175 here I come
